Dental Implants in Costa Rica: Permanent Teeth, Up to 70% Less.
Titanium implants and natural ceramic crowns, placed by our own specialists and backed by a lifetime warranty. The same materials and standards as the U.S., without the U.S. price tag.
A permanent replacement for missing teeth
Dental implants are titanium posts placed in the jawbone that fuse with the bone over time (osseointegration), providing a stable foundation for a custom porcelain or zirconia crown. Unlike dentures, they don’t move, click, or need adhesives. At New Smile, every step, from the 3D scan to the final crown, happens under one roof, in our own in-house digital lab.
Who is a candidate for dental implants
- Missing one or more teeth and want a fixed, permanent solution
- Tired of removable dentures that slip or click
- Have failing crowns, bridges, or a cracked tooth that can’t be saved
- Have enough jawbone, or are open to a bone graft to qualify
Told you don’t have enough bone for implants? Our in-house subperiosteal implants, 3D-printed in titanium, may still be an option.

Full profileDental implants FAQ
Is dental implant surgery painful?
The procedure is done under local anesthesia, so you shouldn’t feel pain during placement. Mild soreness for a few days afterward is normal and managed with standard pain medication.
How long do dental implants last?
With proper care, implants can last a lifetime. That’s why we back the implant itself with a lifetime warranty. Keep in mind that implant crowns need the same daily care as natural teeth, brushing, flossing, and regular checkups. Skipping proper hygiene is the most common cause of gum problems around an implant, regardless of the warranty.
What if I don’t have enough bone?
We evaluate this with a 3D CBCT scan. Depending on your case, options include bone grafting or, for more advanced bone loss, our in-house subperiosteal implants.
How many trips to Costa Rica will I need?
Most cases are planned across two visits: placement, then the final crown after healing. Your advisor will confirm the exact timeline for your case at your free quote.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, flexible payment plans are available based on your treatment plan.
