What happens if I need an adjustment after I fly home?
Your warranty is written and your advisor stays reachable. If an in-person adjustment is ever needed, we coordinate it with you directly.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes. We offer a lifetime guarantee on dental implants and a 7-year guarantee on crowns and veneers.
Is the quality really the same as in the U.S.?
We use the same implant systems, materials and digital equipment as U.S. clinics. The price difference comes from operating costs, not from standards.
How do you handle my medical records and x-rays?
We follow HIPAA guidelines. CT scans and x-rays are shared through secure, HIPAA-compliant file transfer.
Is it safe to get dental work in Costa Rica?
Yes, when you choose an established clinic. We have treated international patients for over 25 years, with 8 full-time specialists, a maxillofacial surgeon on staff, and memberships in ADA, ICOI, AAID and the Association of Dental Surgeons of Costa Rica.
Do the doctors speak English?
Yes. Advisors, doctors and concierge staff all communicate in English.
What currency do I use?
U.S. dollars are accepted almost everywhere in Costa Rica, and your treatment is quoted and paid in dollars.
Do I need a visa for Costa Rica?
U.S. and Canadian citizens do not need a visa for tourist stays. A valid passport is enough.
Why do I have to stay that long?
Restorative work needs lab time, even with our lab in the same building. You will not spend those days in the chair; most patients use the free days to rest or explore Costa Rica.
